11/08/00 - Danzig Double Live CD will be titled "Live On The Black Hand Side" and should be out in the new year. The band will enter the recording studio on Dec 13th to begin the recording of Danzig7. "This will be the last Danzig album to bear a number in it's title," states Glenn. As soon as I have more info on the new album I will post it here. Finally, rumors have still surfaced on Glenn reuniting w/ The Misfits. Glenn again has confirmed once and for all that he will Not be part of any Misfits reunion.

10/21/00 - Winners of the Samhain Let The Day Begin Contest should be announced soon. Also, uploaded new Danzig Font to the 7thHouse FTP Site. Fangs to "Blood And Tears" for the killer font! The band is currently working on a new album. No release date or song titles at this time. Until then....HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

9/23/00 - DANZIG were going to do a fall tour, but has put that aside to start work on Danzig7. It promises to be killer! Any updates on the progress of the new album will be posted here. Also, check out the new Danzig Media Player Skin by JuicePossum.com for use with the Sonique Media Player. Make sure to also download the Novembers Fire Plug-in. This skin is by far the best out there. Two thumbs up on this one!

8/18/00 - Rumors about Glenn Danzig taking part in a Misfits reunion are False. Also, the Danzig Double Live CD is being prepared for release this fall. This will be the first full-length live CD release and will include tracks from the entire Danzig catalog up till present. And don't forget to get the Danzig/Samhain Limited Edition Lithographs now available at Danzig-Verotik.com.

7/30/00 - Good to see all the Demon MF's at the San Diego Comic Con & @ the DANZIG show. Well worth the trip! Got to see DANZIG play "Cult Without A Name." Heavy stuff! This last week I was able to see the Bisley Prototype Statue. It is killer! Also got to see a prototype of the Dalkiel Phrophecy wall plaque. Both pieces were unpainted, but were amazing. Not sure when these will be out, but as soon as I know I will post here. Also, added some "live" pics from the Danzig show last week in San Diego. Go to the Danzig Image Gallery to check them out!

7/15/00 - Just got back from a DANZIG Rehearsal. They were getting ready for the San Diego Show on 7/20. They sound great! Tight as ever. Also be sure to try an catch VEROTIK @ the San Diego Comic that same weekend. Glenn Danzig & Martin Emond will be there signing Limited Edition Lithographs. Limited to 300 each these are full color thick card stock lithographs with art by Martin Emond. Two lithos, one of the Satan's Child Internet Only cover art & the other of the Samhain Boxset art. 6/17/00 - DANZIG will be playing a special show in San Diego, CA Thurs. July 20th! The venue is called 4th&B on 345 B Street in downtown San Diego. Just minutes from the San Diego Comic Con. VEROTIK will be @ the Comic Con. w/ special guest Martin Emond & Tim Vigil. Also extended the LET THE DAY BEGIN CONTEST '2000 deadline to 9/1. Be sure to ENTER if you haven't already! 3/14/00 - As many of you know or may not know Josh Lazie is no longer in DANZIG. Josh decided to leave the band....no hard feelings on either end. New DANZIG bass player is Howie Pyro. He was formely in Dgeneration and some other NYC based bands. Also added some more DANZIG TOUR DATES.

3/6/00 - The The Crow: Salvation soundtrack will be released 3/28/00. There is a DANZIG remix called "Underbelly Of The Beast" and is available only on this CD. You can order the CD by going to The7thHouse Online Store. Also some new DANZIG TOUR DATES. See you creeps on the road!

1/26/00 - Just got back from the Evilive/Verotik office. Got copies of the reissues including "Blackacidevil," "Sacrifice Remixes," "Black Aria," & the limited edition "Unspeakable Single." Also got to see the layout for the booklet of the Samhain Boxset. I saw about 6 or 7 pages in progress. Badass stuff including rare flyers & rare band photos. Every fan will dig it!!!! 9/14/99 - Just got back from the Verotik/Evilive office. Got to see some cool stuff! First off I saw the artwork for the re-issue of the Sacrifice single, Black Aria, & Blackacidevil. They look even better than the originals. The cover of Black Aria will still have the Kaluta piece for the cover. The re-issue of the Sacrifice single will have the 5 mixes of "Sacrifice" along w/ "Deepest" - Kennedy Acid Death Mix, "Deeper Still" - French Techo Mix, "Serpentia" - J. Bishara Remix. The Blackacidevil re-issue will contain the extra tracks, "Bleedangel," "Deeper," and "Don't Be Afraid." These look killer!!! As soon as I have a release date for these I will post them here. 8/11/99 - Quick update, Danzig6 will be out for internet release on Oct. 2nd and in stores on Nov. 2nd. The album will be out on Emagine instead of Koch as previously stated. You will be able to order the new cd from http://www.emaginemusic.com. The website will be up around 8/24/99. You will be able to choose from 2 different covers. One cover is by Martin Emond & the other is by Simon Bisley. Glenn also told me that "Black Aria" & "Blackacidevil" will be re-issued around the same time as Danzig6 hits stores. 7/13/99 - Release date for Danzig6 has been announced on the DANZIG HOTLINE (213) 694-0009. The album will be released on Glenn's label EVILIVE/KOCH. Danzig6 will be available in stores as of 10/9. 5/30/99 - Nothing new to report at this time. I have been rebuilding the Image Gallery. Just finished adding some new pics! Hope you enjoy them. If anyone gets to see DANZIG in Europe next month please send in your pictures so I can post them here.

4/24/99 - Here is another flyer from this year's Super Festival in Tokoyo, Japan May 4th & 5th with special guests Glenn Danzig & Simon Bisley. Danzig6 listening party also scheduled. While at the office Glenn showed us the intended artwork for the Caroline Misfits Tribute album. Artwork by Martin Emond. Later while Glenn was editing pages for Satanika #11 the sounds from "Initium" began playing. Glenn explained that he recorded that on a 4 track with Steve Zing. He used a mic and slid it up and down the bass to create all the noise effects. Cool huh? Also look for 4 alternate covers for Satanika #11 including a japanese style painting by Glenn.

4/19/99 - Glenn Danzig & Simon Bisley will be appearing at this year's Super Festival in Japan. This will take place May 4th & 5th. Looks like there will be tons of toys and models. The company Fewture will have some exclusive Devilman action figures. Wish I could be there!

4/12/99 - Just got back from the Verotik/Danzig Office. Af138 and I got to hang out w/ Jeff Chambers & Glenn Danzig. We saw some really cool stuff. There were Samhain/Misfits Skateboards. They were coffin shaped w/ limited edition flourescent pink, green, and orange writing. Glenn explained these were rare because after the first run he experimented w/ a few different colors. They might be selling them through the web. Glenn also showed us some original artwork he just found signed from Pushead '83. He also showed us a self portrait from the Misfits days with his skeleton outfit and gloves. This was an actual photo he later used on the "Die, Die" 12inch. Glenn also showed us a Japanese style painting of Satanika w/ some demons he painted himself. He might be using this for an alternate cover for Satanika#11. We also got to see a possible t-shirt for Danzig6. It's a art piece by Verotik artist Martin Emond. It has this girl sitting down on the floor w/ one of her legs crossed. She has the tribal skull tattooed on her chest and the 4p symbols tattooed on her inner forearm. Above her it has a cool font that Glenn created that says "Satan's Child" 6:66.
Later on that evening some fans got a call from Jeff Chambers. He played some clips from the new album over the phone. I guess he keeps in touch w/ some of the fans. I thought that was cool and we had a great time doing it. Maybe it will happen again soon.
No official word on a release date. Trust me it will be worth the wait. The band will be starting rehearsals soon. I might be taking some pics of that. Stay tuned.

New album sounds friggin incredible! Guitar, bass, drums all sound great. Glenn's vocals sound great with some echoes here and there. 11/26/98 - Just got back from the Rob Zombie show in San Bernardino. Angelfuck and I ran into Jeff Chambers from DANZIG. This was the first time we had met him. Very cool guy. He is totally pumped for the new record. He also thinks this is the best DANZIG record yet. He mentioned some new song titles: "Satan's Child," "Lillin," "Cult Without A Name." He said the song "Apokalips" is probably the heaviest track. He also mentioned that they laid down 20 tracks and that there will be 13 on the new record. He didn't have a release date, but as soon as I find out I will post it here. A big "FANGS" to Jeff!!!

08/10/98 - Here is some news straight from the Official Danzig-Verotik Website. Danzig is currently at work on the 6th album, the album will be produced by Glenn Danzig and Peter Lorimer. Some current working titles of songs are: "Five Finger Crawl," "Bleed Angel," "Apokalips," "Belly of the Beast," "I Know Your Lie."
All together, there are over seventeen songs that will be recorded for Danzig 6. Approximately thirteen songs will be on the album the rest will appear as B-Sides on foreign EP's. Danzig may also be recording the song he wrote for Johnny Cash "13" for possible inclusion on the LP.
Also in the works is a possible Internet only "Serpentia" re-mix EP which will feature a re-mix by Glenn Danzig and Peter Lorimer plus three "Deep" re-mixes: "Deeper," "Deeper Still," and "Deepest." These mixes are by Danzig, Bill Kennedy, and "French" Eric Cadieux.

08/07/98 - Just got back from the Verotik office where I got to see the Danzig Fanclub t-shirts. They were on the computer but they look awesome! They have a new Danzig skull on the front and "Danzig Fanclub Demon M.F." printed down the sleeves. I asked Glenn what Demon M.F. stands for and he replied with "Demon Mother Fucker." Cool huh?
Also Glenn mentioned an internet only E.P. that will contain 3 mixes of DEEP: "Deeper," "Deeper Still," and "Deepest." It will also contain a remixed version of "Serpentia." See you creeps next week in San Diego!!!!!

07/31/98 - Just got back from GWAR Girls Freak Show @ Lazie's coffee shop, TOPFUEL. The show was friggin wild. Hope you had a chance to stop by. Angelfuck and I talked to Glenn Danzig for a while. The new guitarist for DANZIG is from a band called 57Crown not Spineshank which I previously stated. Glenn has about 13 songs for the new record. Glenn stated that the new record is going to be a lot more guitar orientated. Also he stated that there will be less treatment on the vocals as compared to "Blackacidevil." He did say he will add in elements of techno or noise if the song requires it. He did say they will be playing "7thHouse" and "Sacrifice" on this current European Tour. As far as the Danzig Fanclub....just be patient Glenn says. Things are just taking a bit longer than expected.
We also talked about The Misfits a bit. Glenn mentioned to us that Robo blew-up the Spiderman Van they used to tour in. I'm assuming he ment blew-up the engine. Cool huh?
We also talked a bit about the new Devilman toys and Go Nagai, the creator of Devilman. And finally Glenn said he will be @ The San Diego Comic Conn.....see you creeps there!!

06/22/98 - Danzig Hotline (213)694-0009 has been updated. The Samhain Reunion will happen sometime in November when the Samahin Boxset is released. They will play about 8-10 shows throughout the United States. The boxset will contain 2 "live" unreleased Samhain shows, and some alternate versions of songs.
Uncertain if Glenn will be at the San Diego Comic Conn. because the band will be in rehearsals for the upcoming European Tour which starts on August 18th. Special guests for the San Diego Conn. include Simon Bisley, Kent Williams, Dave Stevens, and Jason Pearson.

06/07/98 - Just got back from the Shrine Comic Conevtion here in Los Angeles. Picked up 2 Devilman figures, Akira Fudo (Devilman w/ black street clothes) and Silene. The Akira figure comes w/ a glow in the dark Demon mask. Cool stuff!
Also in the crowd was Glenn Danzig. Angelfuck138 and I chatted briefly w/ Glenn. He mentioned doing a European tour after the San Diego Comic Conn. and then putting out the new record. He was cool as always!

Please send artwork samples of Verotik characters or your own "special" characters penciled, inked, or colored in comic book format. Send coloring/inking sample printouts of work you have done. Or send on a Macintosh readable zip-disk. Send your original (as in your own idea not something you read somewhere else!) story in script form complete with synopsis. This can be submitted with or without page layouts. Please send copies of work, not the originals. If you would like your submission returned to you, add proper postage. 04/01/98 - Ok you creeps, Verotik has just released Verotik Illustrated #2. It contains 3 short stories from the Verotik Line-up: G.O.T.H, Ge Rouge, and Akuma-She. It also contains a killer cover by Dave Stevens.

03/08/98 - A big "FANGS" goes out to Joe Roughley for the new 7thHouse graphics. HELLuva an artist! In stores now, Satanika Anime Storyboards w/ anime cel repro. The Mad House Studios storyboards for the Japanese Satanika Anime Pilot by Nippon legend....Rintaro. Also all the character settais by the world famous Yoshiaki Kawajiri. Also in stores Verotika Trade Paperback #2 w/ a cover by Simon Morse.

02/19/98 - In DANZIG news: Danzig 6 is in pre-production as we speak. Some track titles so far are "Five Finger Crawl," "You Leave Me Cold," and "Zodiac Summer." A tour to follow this summer. The Danzig-Verotik.com website should be up real soon. There will be a limited edition cd version of "Blackacidevil" that will contain the same songs but will have different artwork. Glenn says "it's much cooler than the one Hollywood put out." You will be able to get it when you join the Danzig Fanclub. The Samhain boxset is ready to go and has a cool cover that was done by Verotik artist Martin Emond. Hopefully it will be released by summer. Keep your fangs crossed. Stay tuned for more details as I hear of them.

12/18/97 - In Verotik news, they have just released an awesome book that retails for $24.95. The book contains nothing but Simon Bisley artwork...including the Thrall-Demonsweat Live cover. Also, the Official Danzig-Verotik website will be back up soon. I will announce when it is ready to go.

11/21/97 - Just got back from Verotik where I got to hear the Satanika Animation Movie Re-mixes. They sound great! Can't wait for the Satanika Movie. Glenn Danzig will be going to Japan to record some stuff for January's release of the Satanika Anime Movie Pilot. This will include the 3-4 minute movie pilot and some interviews w/ Glenn along w/ some other stuff. Also if you haven't picked up the the Venus Domina Illustrated, go get it! Has some cool pin-ups by Coop, Rob Zombie, WingBird, and other great artists.

11/05/97 - Verotik will be releasing the Venus Domina Illustrated comic book this month w/ an exclusive pin-up by Rob Zombie.

10/16/97 - In Verotik News, New Satanika t-shirt will be available in Feb. Satanika #8 regular and Jack Kirby cover along with Death Dealer #4 will be available November 1. Verotik will be attending the SuperCon in Oakland, CA Nov. 1st & 2nd. Glenn Danzig currently plans to attend.

10/01/97 - DANZIG will play The Whiskey in Hollywood, California on Halloween. Tickets will be a ghoulish $6.66. Devilman138 will see you creeps there!
In Janurary, VEROTIK will be selling the video for the Satanika Movie Pilot. It will have the 3 minute pilot along with some interviews. The cost will be around $19.95.

In other news, Glenn Danzig will be priemering the new Satanika Animation Movie Pilot this weekend (July 19,20) at the San Diego Comic Conn. The movie is scheduled to hit theaters next summer.

4/1/97 - The "Serpentia" video is done. It is directed by Elias Marhiges known for the b/w movie "Begotten."

1/15/97 - A new E.P. is scheduled to be released in summer'97. It will contain 6 or 7 news songs. It will include a new version of "Deep" called "Deeper," and another track called "Bleed Angel."

12/28/96 - There is an Import Version of "Sacrifice" on CD from Germany. It contains 3 tracks: "Sacrifice," "Blackacidevil," (both are album versions) and an unreleased track called "Don't Be Afraid."

12/17/96 - The "Sacrifice" Single is out. It contains 4 mixes of "Sacrifice" by Foetus. It also includes the album version and a re-mix by Joe Bishara who also did the programming for DANZIG5.
