DANZIG: 10/30/96 Hollywood, CA (Aron's Records)

Well on the radio they announced a free Danzig show at Aron's Records. I didn't even know about it until a couple of days before. I arrived a couple of hours before just in case. The stage was set up right in the parking lot. I thought that this show would be cancelled because it was raining like crazy. I did finally clear up and things were set to go.

Danzig was to play about 4 or 5 songs, and then do a signing. There must have been maybe 1,000 to 1,500 people there. It was great cause I was about 15 feet from the stage w/ my camera. I took some pics, but I was having some camera problems so I hope the film develops ok. It was very cold. So cold that Glenn did the set with his classic black leather jacket. It was cool to see the new band from real close-up. Tommy and Lazie were great! As was Joey's drumming. Glenn jumped down from the stage and shook every person's hand that was in the front. The set was as follows:

Mother
Sacrifice
Until You Call On The Dark
See All You Were
Deep
It's Coming Down
7th House

The set was great. The new band kicked some ass! I hope you people in the Los Angeles area got to see this. Oh yeah...Happy Halloween!
